Han Su Yin’s China was first published in 1986 and became a classic title on China before travel to China had become easily accessible to the modern day tourist.

Although it is out of print today it has increased its value as a collectors item. I spent many months traveling from the Afghan boarder to the west to the alpine passes of Tibet and the large ancient cities of the east before the development of the modern era changed China forever.
