In his 35 years as a professional photographer, Mike has been commissioned to photograph for 26 books, including: Han Su Yin's China, Korea 'Land of the Morning Calm' and Landscapes, Traditions and Seasons', a series of cook books for the Hermitage Mt Cook and a series of children's books.
He is Co-Author of four Award Winning Creative Photography Field-guides
Creative Photography I&II and Creative Travel Photography I & II
Designed to help photographers understand their cameras creative potential as well as and more importantly the importance of ‘the creative idea’.
Currently in 2020 he is publishing two books “Scenes from the Lounge” and “Southern Manscapes” .
